KCCU Kicks Off Winter Coat Drive to Keep Our Communities Warm
Kellogg Community Credit Union launches its annual winter coat drive on September 15, 2025, to support local families in need.

Kellogg Community Credit Union (KCCU) is launching its annual winter coat drive on September 15, 2025, to support community members facing financial hardships during the colder months.
The drive will run until October 31, with donation bins available in the lobbies of all KCCU branch locations.
Recognizing the challenges many families encounter in securing adequate winter clothing, KCCU is committed to collecting new and gently used coats, snow pants, hats, mittens, and scarves in all sizes—from infants to adults.
All items should be clean and in good condition.
Donated items will be distributed to local families through partnerships with community organizations.
Tracy Miller, CEO of KCCU, emphasized the organization's dedication to community support, stating, "With the colder months approaching, we want to ensure everyone in our community has access to warm clothing. Our annual coat drive is one of the many ways we strive to give back and embody our 'people helping people' philosophy."
In previous years, the coat drive has seen significant community engagement.
For instance, in 2023, KCCU collected over 435 coats and 186 cold-weather items, which were distributed to local families in need.
This year, KCCU aims to build on that success, encouraging members and the broader community to participate generously.
Donations can be made at any KCCU branch, including locations in Battle Creek, Marshall, Kalamazoo, Portage, Richland, Grand Rapids, and Three Rivers.
For more information on how to contribute or to find the nearest branch, community members are encouraged to contact KCCU directly.
By coming together, we can ensure that everyone in our community stays warm and safe this winter season. |
