Two Arrested in Connection with Criminal Sexual Conduct Investigation
Two individuals arrested in Pennfield Township on August 7, 2025, facing multiple charges including Criminal Sexual Conduct and Child Abuse.

On August 7, 2025, the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant in the 100 block of Maxwell Avenue in Pennfield Township, following information provided by authorities in Indiana.
During the investigation, detectives interviewed multiple individuals, leading to the arrest of a 32-year-old male from Arkansas and a 29-year-old woman from Pennfield Township.
Both suspects were lodged at the Calhoun County Jail and have been charged with:
Four counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct – 1st Degree
Four counts of Child Abuse – 2nd Degree
One count of Kidnapping
The investigation is ongoing.
