A Halloween Wonderland in Scotts: HolidayHouse5777 Lights Up the Night

Some people put a few pumpkins on the porch for Halloween. Others hang a skeleton by the front door or string orange lights across the bushes.

And then there's HolidayHouse5777 in Scotts, Michigan.

Located at 5777 Clover Meadows Avenue, this home has taken Halloween decorating to another level, filling its yard with illuminated inflatable characters, glowing pumpkins and colorful seasonal scenes. It's the kind of display that makes you do a double take.

A Yard Filled With Halloween Magic

One of the most striking features in photographs shared by HolidayHouse5777 is an enormous Jack Skellington-inspired inflatable archway welcoming visitors into a world of Halloween characters.

Beyond the entrance, the display continues with colorful ghosts, towering figures, illuminated pumpkins and characters inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas. Rather than relying on one giant decoration, the homeowners have created an experience filled with details that reward a closer look.

Photographs from previous seasons show a large collection of glowing jack-o'-lanterns and a carnival-style fun house entrance featuring a spooky clown. Each part of the yard has its own personality.

A Holiday Tradition Beyond Halloween

HolidayHouse5777 isn't only about Halloween. According to its Facebook page, the household also decorates for Easter and Christmas. The page's promotional imagery includes the words “220+ Inflatables!” That is a historical promotional claim, not a verified count of the current display.

Keeping the Holiday Lights Glowing

Displays this elaborate take time, effort and electricity. In a fundraising message, the organizers estimated that electricity and other operating expenses for one year's displays would exceed $1,300, excluding the decorations themselves.

They've invited people who enjoy the displays to contribute if they wish, while making clear that donations are optional. The organizers have also described a donation box near the entrance. Their GoFundMe fundraiser offers another way to help.
