Academic Honors Recognize 350-Plus KCC Students

Kellogg Community College has recognized more than 350 area students for outstanding academic performance during the Summer 2026 semester.

The honorees earned places on either KCC’s President’s List or Dean’s List, two distinctions that reflect sustained achievement in college-level coursework.

President’s List students finished the semester with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average, while Dean’s List students earned GPAs ranging from 3.50 to 3.99.

Students also had to satisfy KCC’s credit requirements and finish the term without an incomplete or withdrawn grade.

The complete Summer 2026 list is arranged by hometown, making it easy for families and neighbors to find honorees from Battle Creek, Albion, Athens, Marshall, Springfield and other communities across the region.

Summer classes can demand unusual focus, especially for students balancing coursework with jobs, family responsibilities or accelerated academic plans.

KCC’s announcement places those individual efforts in a broader community picture, showing academic success across the college’s service area and among both full-time and part-time learners.

The college publishes President’s and Dean’s lists after the fall, spring and summer semesters, giving students recurring opportunities to earn formal recognition.

For new and returning students, the honors criteria also offer a clear benchmark: strong grades matter, but so do steady enrollment and completing courses without incomplete or withdrawn marks.

The recognition is more than a line on a transcript, because it gives families, employers and transfer institutions a visible measure of a student’s academic consistency.

KCC serves roughly 6,200 students each year through five campuses, online coursework, customized training, associate degrees, certificate programs and professional certifications.

Students interested in beginning or continuing their education can explore admissions resources, campus visits and academic programs through the college.
