Battle Creek Man Accused of Trying to Lure Child Near Willard Library. Is Our City Doing Enough to Protect Kids?

The individual is accused of attempting to lure children into his vehicle near the Willard Library in downtown Battle Creek.

Upon arrival, officers located the suspect nearby and took him into custody without incident.

 

He is currently held at the Calhoun County Jail on charges of child enticement and attempted unlawful imprisonment, with the possibility of additional charges as the investigation continues.
