Franke Center Announces 'Finding Nemo Jr.' Auditions for K–5 Students in August

Youth theater invites young performers to audition for upcoming production

The Franke Center's Youth Theater is excited to announce auditions for its upcoming production of 'Finding Nemo Jr.', scheduled for Wednesday, August 13, and Thursday, August 14, at The Franke Center, located at 214 E. Mansion St. in Marshall.

Students entering kindergarten through fifth grade in the fall of 2025 are encouraged to audition for this vibrant adaptation of Disney's beloved story.

The production is set to run from Thursday, October 16, through Sunday, October 19.

In this musical, audiences will follow Marlin, an anxious father, as he embarks on a daring journey across the ocean to find his son, Nemo, who has been captured.

Along the way, Marlin encounters a host of memorable characters, including Dory and Crush, learning valuable lessons about trust and friendship.

The production team features Angela Gerten as director and choreographer, with Marge Smith serving as music director.

Audition times are as follows:

There is a $10 non-refundable registration fee for auditions.

Additionally, participants should bring a current, non-returnable photo.

If cast, a participation fee of $110 will apply.

Scholarships and sibling discounts are available upon request.

To help young performers prepare, an optional audition workshop will be held on Saturday, August 9.

This workshop aims to teach audition techniques and stage performance skills.
