God's Kitchen of Michigan Hosts Free Community Barbecue Dinners in Battle Creek and Oshtemo Township |
Nonprofit organization offers complimentary meals to all community members on July 23 and 24 |
God's Kitchen of Michigan is extending an open invitation to the community for two free barbecue dinners this week.
The first event is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23, at First United Methodist Church, located at 111 E. Michigan Ave. in Battle Creek.
The second dinner will take place on Thursday, July 24, at Flesher Field, 3664 S. Ninth St. in Oshtemo Township, just west of Kalamazoo.
Both dinners will be served from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The menu features barbecue chicken or ribs, corn-on-the-cob, macaroni salad, baked beans, dessert, and bottled water.
There are no income or religious requirements to attend; all are welcome.
Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
God's Kitchen of Michigan is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free meals to those in need.
