Popular Salad Kit Recalled from Michigan and Indiana Stores |
Taylor Farms Issues Voluntary Recall Due to Undeclared Allergens |
Residents in Michigan and Indiana are urged to check their refrigerators for the Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit, which has been voluntarily recalled due to undeclared sesame and soy allergens.
Taylor Fresh Foods announced the recall after discovering that some salad kits contained Asian Sesame Ginger dressing instead of the intended Honey Balsamic Vinaigrette. This mix-up introduced sesame and soy into the product without proper labeling, posing a risk to individuals with allergies to these ingredients.
The affected product is the Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit, 6/8.3 oz, with product codes starting with "TFRS" and "Best If Used By" dates up to and including September 4, 2025. These kits were distributed in multiple states, including Michigan and Indiana.
Consumers who have purchased this salad kit are advised to discard it immediately and not consume it. Refunds are available at the point of purchase. As of now, no illnesses have been reported in connection with this recall.
For further information, consumers can contact the Taylor Farms customer care team at 855-455-0098, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT.
Food safety remains a top priority, and consumers are encouraged to stay informed about product recalls to ensure their well-being. |
