We stopped into Salsas Mexican Restaurant for dinner and had a wonderful experience.

 

We have been here before, though it’s been a while,and usually order takeout.

 

I’m happy to report that the food is just as good in the store as it is when we bring it home.

 

The Atmosphere: When we entered, the place was buzzing! There was a large group of 10 or 12 people celebrating a birthday, so the energy was high.

 

Our server, Yosa, was the absolute highlight of the visit.

 

She was busy handling the big birthday table, but she didn’t miss a beat.

 

A gentleman from the back even popped out to the front to help get us started with chips and drinks.

 

It was great to see that kind of teamwork and support, they handled the rush with total efficiency.

 

We started with the Cheese Sauce, which was wonderful. It’s the perfect way to kick things off while looking over the menu.

 

For mains, my wife ordered the Chicken Chimichanga, which she said was wonderful.

 

I went with the Carne Asada Burrito. The meat was tender and very flavorful, and the burrito itself was quite large—a great value for the price.

 

But here is the real "Pro Tip": I ordered a single Steak Street Taco on the side, and I am so glad I did.

 

It was delicious and very traditional in presentation. If you are hungry, definitely add one of these to your order!

 

It was another great visit, and we will certainly continue to return.
