As her nursing career continued, she decided she wanted to further her education and become a nurse practitioner. She chose a focus of adult-gerontology with a special interest in wound care. Sheena considers chronic wound care to be a challenging area of medicine, one that will allow her to expand her skills while providing personalized care for her patients. She considers her current position in the wound center to be her dream job.
