About
Dr Nair had a deep interest in the science of oncology and tumorigenesis since the early years of his medical training. He spent the formative years of his medical education in clinical oncology and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Center, which played a key role in defining his career path. As a medical oncologist, Dr Nair works with patients who have cancer or blood disorders. He has a special interest in helping patients with lung cancer, breast cancer, stomach and intestinal cancers, and prostate, bladder or kidney cancers. He also treats patients with blood disorders such as blood clotting problems and issues with blood counts. The rapid testing and healing advances within the field of cancer care excite Dr Nair the most.

Dr Maddur Badarinath was most influenced to become a doctor by his mother. He chose critical care because he enjoyed the challenge of caring for patients with severe and multiple injuries. Further, he likes the reward of seeing how much progress patients make after being cared for by the critical care team. Dr Badarinath has special interests in diabetes, respiratory failure, shock and sepsis. In his free time, Dr Badarinath enjoys doing health walks and volunteering at the nursing clinic.
