One Local Business Saved Marshall's Biggest July 4th Tradition ❤️

This year’s Marshall Fourth of July Circle Concert nearly lost one of its favorite traditions when no vendor was lined up to serve the beloved chicken dinner at Brooks Memorial Fountain.
With the event fast approaching and community concern rising, Chef Benny and Denise Young of Mitts 2 Pits Catering from Battle Creek answered the call, stepping in at the last minute.
Despite having little time to prepare, they tackled the challenge head-on, drawing families and friends to downtown Marshall, where the classic band concert and children’s bike parade set the stage for a memorable night.
The food line moved efficiently, and locals raved about the meal, noting the seamless service and delicious chicken.
By the end of the evening, it was clear Mitts 2 Pits did more than just meet expectations—they helped keep a cherished hometown tradition thriving for another year. Read More... |
