Hot 'n Now Returns: Iconic Burger Brand's New Restaurant Erected in a Single Day |
Beloved fast-food chain makes a swift comeback in Wayland, Michigan |
After years of anticipation, Hot 'n Now has made a remarkable return to West Michigan.
On August 26, 2025, the iconic burger chain's new restaurant was assembled in a single day at 1146 129th Avenue in Wayland, directly across from Gun Lake Casino.
The 737-square-foot drive-thru building, featuring the brand's signature red metal roof, was constructed off-site by B Cubed Manufacturing in Alpena and transported to its new location.
This innovative 'plug and play' approach allowed for rapid on-site assembly, minimizing construction time and disruption.
Witnessing the swift transformation from an empty lot to a fully erected restaurant was truly exhilarating.
Once operational, the Wayland Hot 'n Now will serve its classic menu items, including the beloved Olive Burger and Cheesy Taters.
Operating hours are set from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and extending until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the owners are committed to providing affordable pricing that caters to a wide range of households and incomes.
This revival marks a significant milestone for the brand, which had dwindled to a single location in Sturgis, Michigan, after its peak in the 1990s.
Founded in 1984 in Kalamazoo, Hot 'n Now once boasted over 150 locations across 15 states.
The resurgence is spearheaded by Gun Lake Investments and Alpena developer Jeff Konczak, who acquired the brand and plan to open additional locations, including one in Alpena slated for later this year.
As the community eagerly awaits the grand opening, the swift construction of the Wayland location stands as a testament to the enduring appeal and adaptability of the Hot 'n Now brand. |
