In Grand Rapids, the 'GR Coalition to Oppose Trump' will gather from 1 to 4 p.m. at Rosa Parks Circle, 135 Monroe Center St. NW. The event will feature speakers from grassroots groups and student organizations, followed by a march through downtown. Earlier in the day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Indivisible Greater Grand Rapids and local community organizations will host the 'No Kings Community Festival' at the south end of Riverside Park, 2001 Monroe Ave. NE. This festival offers musical and comedy entertainment, activities for all ages, and community action tables. Attendees are encouraged to bring food donations for the South End Community Outreach Ministries (SECOM) pantry, which has been impacted by federal funding cuts.
