Battle Creek and communities throughout Calhoun County are heading into another packed stretch of spring activities as the area moves closer to summer.
From May 20 through June 3, residents will find plenty of opportunities to get out and enjoy local events, including farmers markets, food truck gatherings, live entertainment, Memorial Day observances, community fundraisers, and family-friendly activities.
The weekly BC Farmer’s Market continues to be a major attraction downtown, bringing fresh produce, flowers, baked goods, and handmade products to Festival Market Square each Wednesday.
Truckin’ Tuesdays and various local restaurant events are also helping keep downtown Battle Creek buzzing as warmer weather returns.
Memorial Day weekend is expected to bring additional ceremonies, outdoor activities, shopping events, and entertainment throughout Battle Creek, Marshall, Albion, and surrounding communities.
Local organizations and businesses continue adding events to community calendars as the season ramps up.
Whether you’re looking for live music, local food, family fun, or a reason to explore the community, the next two weeks are shaping up to offer something for everyone across the Cereal City and Calhoun County.
