In a distressing turn of events, a residence on Mosher Avenue in Battle Creek was struck by gunfire following a domestic dispute on Thursday night.
Authorities report that around 9:30 p.m., a heated argument erupted between a married couple. The situation escalated when the husband attempted to prevent his wife from leaving by discharging a firearm at two vehicles parked in their driveway.
One of the bullets struck a vehicle, while another inadvertently hit a neighboring home in the 100 block of Mosher Avenue. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
The suspect was promptly apprehended and is now facing charges including unlawful imprisonment and multiple weapons offenses.
