Welcome to the second half of April! The weather is warming up, and the local calendar is bursting with outdoor activities, massive arena events, and the much-anticipated return of our favorite zoo animals.

Week 1: Dancing, Earth Day & Rob Thomas (Apr 15 – 21)
This weekend brings a massive influx of talented dancers to the arena, a major pop-rock concert, and plenty of ways to celebrate the planet.
Week 2: Zoo Animals, Hoops & Conferences (Apr 22 – 28)
Next week marks the start of the season for a beloved local attraction and brings intense basketball competition to downtown.

Q: Do I need to pay to watch the Showstopper Dance Competition? A: No, the Showstopper competition at Kellogg Arena (April 17-19) is completely free for spectators. You can drop in throughout the weekend to watch some incredibly talented regional dance studios perform.
Q: Are kids allowed at the Rob Thomas concert? A: No. Entry to the Event Center and access to the Casino Floor for shows at FireKeepers, including Rob Thomas on April 17, requires all attendees to be 21 or older.
Q: Do I need tickets for The Joe League Basketball Tournament? A: Yes, general admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the Kellogg Arena doors on Saturday, April 25.
