Kingman Collections Museum
A natural history museum in Battle Creek, MI, Kingman Museum traces its roots back to 1871 when it was founded as the museum room for Battle Creek Public Schools. The museum moved to its current location in Leila Arboretum in 1934 and has since become an independent non-profit. The museum has a collection of around 20,000 artifacts including mounted animals, cultural artifacts, geological samples and fossils. In 2020, the museum building closed. Kingman Collections, a community project fund of Encourage BC! now facilitates offsite education programs and exhibit rentals with the historic collection.
