Battle Creek Chamber Announces Busy Season of Events

The Battle Creek Area Chamber of Commerce has rolled out its event calendar for the next several months, and it is packed with opportunities to connect, celebrate, and support local businesses.

March: Discover Italy

Coming up fast is an information session about a trip to Italy. On March 30th at noon, the Chamber is hosting a lunch-and-learn at their office on Michigan Avenue. If you have ever dreamed of visiting Italy, this is your chance to learn more about the planned trip. Email the Chamber to reserve your spot.

April: Business Excellence Awards

Nominations are currently open for the Business Excellence Awards, which will be held April 29th at the Binda Theater at Kellogg Community College. This event recognizes the businesses and individuals who make Battle Creek a better place to work and live. If you know a business worth celebrating, get your nomination in soon.

May: Truckin' Tuesdays Return

One of the most popular summer traditions kicks off May 5th. Truckin' Tuesdays bring food trucks to McCamly Park every Tuesday starting in May. It is a simple formula... good food, live music, and a chance to enjoy the outdoors with friends and neighbors. Mark your calendar and come hungry.

Summer Events

The Chamber has plenty planned for summer too. The Silent Observer Golf Outing happens June 12th at Squirrel Hollow Golf Course. On July 24th, the Chamber is hosting a night with the Battle Creek Battle Jacks baseball team. And on August 23rd, Backyard Burgers & Brewfest returns with food trucks, live music, and family fun.
