15 Michigan stores receive upgrades including new technology, expanded services, and modernized shopping experience
Walmart is giving its Battle Creek Supercenter a major facelift this year as part of a statewide investment in store improvements. The location at 6020 B Drive North is one of 15 Michigan stores scheduled for remodels in 2026.
The retailer has invested more than $546 million in Michigan stores over the past five years. Nationally, Walmart plans to remodel over 650 Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets this year.

Other Michigan Stores Getting RemodelsThe 15 locations span across the state, including stores in Adrian, Bay City, Big Rapids, Commerce Township, Fowlerville, Jackson, Monroe, New Hudson, Niles, Portage, Three Rivers, Traverse City, White Lake, and Whitehall.
Remodels will take place throughout 2026. Walmart has not announced specific start dates for individual locations.
