"Brews, Bites & Battle Creek: Inside the New Holland Brewing Company Review"

This week, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at New Holland Brewing Company in downtown Battle Creek and let me tell you, it did not disappoint.

Even on a quiet Tuesday evening, the ambiance was buzzing with upscale charm. The décor was polished and modern, with featured craft beers not just from New Holland, but from all over Michigan. They also brew their own incredible selections right on-site.

We started with the pepperoni pinwheels, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The dough was light and flavorful, loaded with gooey cheese and perfectly crisped pepperoni — so good, we saved two to bring home for our daughter to try.

My Wife ordered the half house salad and a bowl of tomato bisque soup.

Pro tip: the “half” salad is still impressively large.

The bisque was rich, thick, and full of deep tomato flavor — exactly what a good comfort soup should be.

I went with the Longhorn steak sandwich, which came topped with bourbon candied jalapeños. Sweet, spicy, and bold those jalapeños were the star of the show. Next time, I’ll be asking for extra!

Our server Arissa deserves a shoutout — she was warm, knowledgeable, and quick on her feet. As a former restaurant manager, I could tell she hit all the key marks of great service. She even signed us up for their frequent customer program.

While we dined indoors (and loved it), there’s also a beautifully designed patio out back. They Feature live music on some evenings — we’ll definitely be back to check that out.
