On August 24, Of The Land Farm in Battle Creek invites the community to its inaugural Flower Concert Series, blending live music with the serene backdrop of blooming cosmo and zinnia fields.
The event aims to offer a peaceful retreat from daily routines, encouraging attendees to immerse themselves in nature's splendor. Chris Foresteiri, known for his work with the Junk Drawer Duo, will perform solo from noon to 2 p.m., providing a harmonious soundtrack to the picturesque setting.
Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to fully enjoy the outdoor concert. For those with mobility concerns, golf cart rides will be available to ensure everyone can access the event comfortably.
The farm's kitchen will offer a selection of picnic fare, including roasted blueberry crumble and tomato feta salad. These items must be pre-ordered online. As a special promotion, guests who spend $50 on picnic fare will receive two complimentary adult tickets.
Admission is priced at $5 per adult when purchased in advance through the farm's website. Tickets bought on the day of the event will cost $10 per adult. The event is family-friendly, offering ample space for attendees to explore the fields and enjoy the floral scenery.
The Greenhouse Event Venue will host a mini market featuring fresh produce and frozen prepared foods. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash and a cooler for their purchases. Please note that outside food and drinks are not permitted.
Of The Land Farm is a family-owned business specializing in farm-to-table catering on a 20-acre property. The farm sells produce and prepared foods through its Green Box online market and hosts events in its greenhouse venue.
