God's Kitchen of Michigan Hosts Annual Holiday Meals for the Community |
God's Kitchen of Michigan is set to host its annual Free Community Christmas Dinners, providing warm meals to individuals and families in need across Battle Creek and Kalamazoo.
The dinners are scheduled for December 17 and 18, 2025, at various locations in both cities.
On Wednesday, December 17, meals will be served at:
First United Methodist Church 111 E. Michigan Ave., Battle Creek 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church 636 W. Van Buren St., Battle Creek 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.
On Thursday, December 18, the dinner will be held at:
Kanley Chapel, Western Michigan University 1903 W. Michigan Ave., Kalamazoo 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
The festive menu includes fried chicken, honey ham, lobster tails, steak, mashed potatoes, cheesy broccoli, dessert, and beverages.
All meals are provided at no cost, and there are no income or religious requirements to participate.
Each child attending will receive a free toy while supplies last.
The Free Community Christmas Dinners are supported by title sponsors including Toys For Tots, IBEW Local 445, Mike & Sharon Seelye Family Foundation, Seelye Auto Group, and the Western Michigan University Student Association Allocations Commission.
