Battle Creek is heading into one of its nicest stretches of weather so far this spring as warm temperatures, sunshine, and comfortable conditions settle into Southwest Michigan for the final days of May and the beginning of June.
The week kicks off with summer-like warmth on Wednesday as temperatures surge into the mid-80s under a mix of clouds and sunshine.
While Thursday cools slightly, the overall pattern remains very pleasant with highs mostly staying in the 70s through the weekend and into early next week.
Friday through Monday looks especially enjoyable for outdoor activities with mostly sunny skies, low humidity, and mild overnight temperatures.
Residents heading to parks, ballgames, backyard cookouts, or local events should find near-ideal late-spring weather across much of the holiday stretch.
A few scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms could develop toward Tuesday as clouds increase, but widespread severe weather is not currently expected.
Even with the slight rain chances returning, temperatures are forecast to remain comfortably warm.
Overall, Battle Creek appears set for a calm and beautiful transition from spring toward summer with several straight days of pleasant weather and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors.
