Scholarship opportunities are available for a diverse range of students, including new enrollees, returning learners, and those preparing to graduate or transfer.
Among the notable scholarships offered are the Gold Key Scholarships and Board of Trustees Scholarships, specifically designed for high school graduates planning to attend KCC.
Additionally, the Foundation provides Field of Study/General Scholarships for both new and returning students, as well as Transfer Scholarships for those graduating with an associate degree and intending to continue their education at an accredited institution.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit their materials by the priority deadline of 11:59 p.m. on March 2, 2026, to ensure full consideration.
Detailed criteria and application guidelines for each scholarship program are available on the Foundation's scholarship website.
In the previous year, the KCC Foundation awarded 914 scholarships, totaling more than $1 million in financial support.
Funds from the current application period will be allocated for use in the fall 2026 and spring 2027 semesters.
Established in 1998, the KCC Foundation operates as a nonprofit organization dedicated to securing private funding to assist students with various needs.
Managed by a volunteer board of directors, the Foundation plays a crucial role in supporting the educational aspirations of KCC students.
For more information about the KCC Foundation or to contribute to student scholarships, interested parties can contact the Foundation directly.
Prospective applicants are reminded that all award notifications will be sent to their KCC email addresses.
Therefore, it's essential to monitor this account regularly for updates regarding scholarship statuses.
By taking advantage of these scholarship opportunities, students can significantly alleviate the financial burdens associated with higher education.
Early application is recommended to maximize the chances of receiving financial aid. |
