Man Dies in Bedford Township Motorcycle Crash

A tragic motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 64-year-old man from Emmett Township on Thursday, August 21, in Bedford Township.
Shortly before 9:40 p.m., emergency responders from the Battle Creek Police Department and LifeCare Ambulance were dispatched to the 22000 block of M-37 following reports of a motorcycle crash with injuries.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the motorcycle engulfed in flames. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash, according to the Battle Creek Police Department.
No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the incident.
The Bedford Township Fire Department assisted in extinguishing the fire. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
