May Erlewine, born in Big Rapids, Michigan, has released over 15 albums since the early 2000s. She is part of the Earthwork Music collective, an independent label promoting authentic, roots-based music. Her work spans guitar, piano, and violin, earning her recognition as one of Michigan's master songwriters.
