Welcome to April! Spring break is in full swing, and the local calendar is overflowing with family-friendly activities, massive casino concerts, and the return of community craft shows.

 

Whether you're hunting for Easter eggs, shopping for a new hot tub, or checking out the local open mic scene, the next two weeks are completely booked.

 

Here is your guide to the action.

 

Week 1: Pop-Rock, Crafts & Easter Egg Hunts (Apr 1 – 7)

We kick off the month with early 2000s nostalgia and a massive Saturday packed with Easter egg hunts and local artisan crafting.

 

  • Spring Break Carnival in the Shops

    • When: Wednesday, Apr 1 & Thursday, Apr 2 | 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    • Where: Downtown Marshall

    • The Scoop: The fun continues for the kids! Bring them downtown to participating shops for carnival games and prizes during the final days of their staycation.

 

  • The All-American Rejects

    • When: Thursday, Apr 2 | 8:00 PM

    • Where: FireKeepers Casino Hotel

  • Homer School's 2nd Annual Spring Craft Show

    • When: Saturday, Apr 4 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    • Where: Homer Community Schools

Week 2: Symphonies, Spas & Aviation (Apr 8 – 14)

After the Easter weekend, we pivot to major regional expos, classical music, and a high-flying community tradition.
