Big News: Same Buzz, Fresh New Name!

First things first—check out our brand-new logo! 

(And no, before you ask, we’re not rebranding as Cracker Barrel—though our mock-up might have given you a laugh. 😉 Just kidding!)

 

Now, on to the real update.

 

Since day one, our newsletter has proudly been called The Battle Creek Buzz.

 

But in our recent name review, we discovered something important: while we were able to purchase our domain name, a local business (now closed) had previously been registered under the same name.

 

Even though they haven’t operated in years, we decided it was better to avoid any confusion, or future legal tangles, by making a small but meaningful change.

 

From here on out, we’ll be known as The Cereal City Buzz.

 

Why “Cereal City”?

Because Battle Creek has been, and always will be, the breakfast capital of the world.

 

It’s part of our identity, and we think the name fits perfectly with the energy, community spirit, and flavor we aim to bring you in every edition.

Here’s what won’t change:

 

• You’ll continue receiving the newsletter just as before at BattleCreekNewsAndEvents.com.

• Our coverage of local stories, events, and people will remain as strong as ever.

• Our mission of connecting and uplifting our community stays the same.

And here’s what will change:

• Our name.

• Our logo (just slightly).
