Meet the Playful Quartet: Parker, Paige, Payton, and Paxton are Ready for Forever Homes

The Humane Society of South Central Michigan is thrilled to introduce four adorable puppies: Parker, Paige, Payton, and Paxton, who are ready to find their forever homes. Born in June 2025, these Aussie/Terrier mix pups are full of personality, energy, and love.

 

Each pup has their own unique charm:

 

• Parker is a sweet boy who loves people and thrives on attention.

• Paige may start out shy, but once comfortable, she’s a typical rambunctious pup.

• Payton has a strong will and independent streak, but is also very affectionate.

• Paxton, the most vocal of the group, always knows how to make his presence known with dramatic flair.

All four are quick learners and have been gaining confidence every week thanks to the caring volunteers at the shelter.

 

They will be medium-sized when fully grown and have an adoption fee of $200 each.

 

Because of their energy levels and need for space, the pups would do best in homes with a physically fenced-in yard.

 

Apartment living just isn’t the right fit.

 

They may get along with another dog pending a meet-and-greet, and would do well with children 8 and up (possibly younger with previous experience). 

 

While they haven’t spent time around cats yet, with a slow introduction and some basic training, they could do fine with a dog-savvy cat.
