Bruin Boo Has Halloween Fun For Battle Creek Families |
Kellogg Community College's Annual Event Returns with Treats and Activities |
Kellogg Community College is set to host its annual Bruin Boo Halloween event, offering an evening of free trick-or-treating and festive activities for children and families in Battle Creek.
The event is scheduled from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at the KCC campus located at 450 North Ave.
Now in its eighth year, Bruin Boo has become a cherished tradition, providing a safe and enjoyable environment for Halloween celebrations.
Attendees can look forward to approximately 50 stations where KCC students, employees, and community partners will distribute candy and other giveaways to trick-or-treaters.
In addition to trick-or-treating, the event will feature a variety of activities, including Halloween games led by KCC student athletes, Halloween-themed coloring pages designed by KCC graphic design students, and face painting.
Nearly 20 community sponsors will also provide additional fun and giveaways.
The event is designed to be family-friendly and cater to children of all ages.
It will take place rain or shine, ensuring that attendees can enjoy the festivities regardless of the weather.
Bruin Boo has garnered support from several community organizations and sponsors.
Sponsors for the 2025 event include Calhoun Intermediate School District Early On, Community Action, First United Methodist Church Childcare Center, South Michigan Food Bank, Stars and Stripes Learning Station, and Voces La Escuelita.
Additional sponsors include Battle Creek Public Schools, Battle Creek First Church of the Nazarene First Kids Learning Center, Marshall Community Credit Union, Omni Community Credit Union, and KCC President Dr. Paul R. Watson II.
