Michigan has allocated $5.6 million to create 13 crisis stabilization units (CSUs) in order to improve mental health care and alleviate overcrowding in emergency departments.

The CSUs will serve as an alternative to psychiatric hospitals, allowing individuals in crisis to receive timely and appropriate care.

The CSUs will be equipped to provide short-term stabilization and connect patients with ongoing mental health services.

This initiative aims to reduce emergency department overcrowding and ensure that individuals with mental health or behavioral health issues receive the care they need in a more appropriate setting.

The CSUs will be established in various locations across Michigan, including Kalamazoo, and will enhance the state's mental health system by providing additional resources for those in crisis.

The funding for these CSUs comes from a combination of federal and state sources, and the implementation of these units is expected to improve access to mental health care for individuals in need.

Faith, Autosuggestion, and Specialized Knowledge

Continuing our journey through Think and Grow Rich**

We’re moving along in Think and Grow Rich, and this week we’re exploring the powerful lessons from Chapters 3, 4, and 5—Faith, Autosuggestion, and Specialized Knowledge.

Chapter 3: Faith
Hill reminds us that faith is a state of mind that can be created by repeated affirmations and visualization. When you truly believe in your goals—and consistently feed your mind positive thoughts—you ignite the emotional drive needed to take bold action. Faith is the fuel that transforms desire into belief, and belief into reality.

Chapter 4: Autosuggestion
Autosuggestion is the process of influencing your subconscious mind through repetition. It’s not just about saying the words—it’s about saying them with emotion and conviction. Hill urges us to repeat our written statement of desire twice daily, with full belief that it is already ours.

Chapter 5: Specialized Knowledge
General knowledge alone won’t lead to riches—but specialized knowledge, applied with purpose, can. You don’t need to know everything—you need to know where to find the right information and how to use it. Lifelong learning and focused skill-building are key.

Let’s keep building our mindset and momentum—we’ll dig into the next chapters next week!
