Michigan residents urged to check their coffee supplies after recall of Clover Valley® Instant Coffee due to potential glass contamination. |
Michigan coffee enthusiasts are being cautioned to inspect their pantry shelves following a recent recall of Clover Valley® Instant Coffee due to potential glass contamination.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Dollar General Corporation has voluntarily recalled three specific lots of its 8-ounce Clover Valley® Instant Coffee.
The affected products were sold between July 9 and July 21, 2025, exclusively at Dollar General stores across Michigan and other states.
The recalled lots include:
8-Ounce Clover Valley® Instant Coffee
Package UPC: 876941004069
Lot: L-5163 / Best By 12/13/2026
Lot: L-5164 / Best By 12/13/2026
Lot: L-5165 / Best By 12/14/2026
Consumers can locate the lot and best-by date information around the neck of the product.
Ingesting glass fragments can lead to serious injuries, including damage to teeth, lacerations of the mouth and throat, or perforation of the intestine.
As of now, no illnesses or injuries have been reported.
Customers who have purchased the recalled coffee are advised to discard it immediately.
