KCC Jazz Band Brings Free ‘Anthems in Autumn’ Concert

The Kellogg Community College Jazz Band will present a free fall concert in Battle Creek on Sunday, November 8th, 2026.

“Anthems in Autumn” begins at 3 p.m. in the auditorium of the Davidson Visual and Performing Arts Center at 450 North Avenue.

The concert is free and open to the public, giving local listeners an easy Sunday-afternoon option on the KCC campus.

Director Eric Campbell will lead the ensemble through nine selections spanning jazz standards, pop favorites and rock arrangements.

The announced program includes “Deacon Blues,” “Frankenstein,” “Pure Imagination,” “My Foolish Heart,” “Caravan” and “Drummin’ Man.”

Other selections are “John Brown’s Other Body,” “I Love You More Today Than Yesterday” and “Count Bubba’s Revenge.”

The mix gives the performance broad appeal for longtime jazz followers and casual concertgoers.

The event also offers the community a chance to hear student and local musicians in one of the college’s main arts spaces without a ticket charge.

Because no admission fee is required, seating availability may still depend on the auditorium’s capacity.

The program also appears on the college’s events calendar, and visitors can review campus parking information before arriving.

Anyone needing more information can contact KCC’s Arts and Communication offices at 269-965-4126.
