Lakeview School District Honors Jeremy Andrews '95 with 2025 Community Spirit Award

Lakeview School District proudly announces that Jeremy Andrews, class of '95, has been named the 2025 Community Spirit Award Honoree by the Board of Education.

As the founder and Executive Director of Sprout Urban Farms, a Battle Creek nonprofit, Jeremy has dedicated himself to building a healthier and more equitable community through food access, education, and entrepreneurship.

Beyond Sprout, Jeremy has co-founded community events and organizations that bring people together, including the Battle Creek Co-op Market initiative and beloved local traditions like Leilapalooza and the Raft Regatta.

His work has been recognized across Michigan as a model of food justice, innovation, and community impact.

Join us as we recognize Jeremy before tomorrow night’s Homecoming football game.
