Dollie chose to become a physical therapist because of her background in dance. She understood how important movement is to a person’s life and career and she wanted to help others recover from, prevent injuries and be more in tune with their own body. Dollie has been influenced most by her mother who gave her the opportunity to pursue her education and suggested she look into a career as a physical therapist. She enjoys coming to work every day knowing she can improve her patients’ quality of life. In her free time, Dollie enjoys learning new languages and new skills. Dr. Johnson (he/him/his) completed his Bachelors of Vision Science at Ferris State University and later earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree at the Michigan College of Optometry. Dr. Johnson then completed his residency in ocular disease at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center, where he focused on comprehensive eye exams and low vision care. Dr. Johnson then went to work for the Battle Creek VA for 16 years providing comprehensive eye exams; along with low vision and traumatic brain injury evaluations to our nation's Veterans. In his spare time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with his young son and extended family and friends, traveling, fitness and enjoying Pure Michigan's outdoors.
