Dr Nair had a deep interest in the science of oncology and tumorigenesis since the early years of his medical training. He spent the formative years of his medical education in clinical oncology and cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Center, which played a key role in defining his career path. As a medical oncologist, Dr Nair works with patients who have cancer or blood disorders. He has a special interest in helping patients with lung cancer, breast cancer, stomach and intestinal cancers, and prostate, bladder or kidney cancers. He also treats patients with blood disorders such as blood clotting problems and issues with blood counts. The rapid testing and healing advances within the field of cancer care excite Dr Nair the most.

Dr Cox feels honored to work with his patients and team up with them in their healthcare. He knows a cancer diagnosis is very emotional and wants to keep communication open with his patients. Dr Cox lost his mother at a young age to leukemia, sparking his passion for caring for those with cancer. He enjoys the opportunity to work with others who share his compassion for their patients. Dr Cox has special interest in GI tumors, breast cancer and lung cancer. To expand access to cancer care across southwest Michigan, Bronson has partnered with other hospitals in our region. As part of this collaboration, Dr Cox is currently seeing patients only in Coldwater and Marshall.

Dr Tariq chose to become a doctor because of his love of problem solving and desire to help others.
